I travelled to Hachiouji today. One of my favourite bands - My Dead Girlfriend - was formed here, so the place has always had an allure to me. An earthquake hit while I was drinking coffee x_x I panicked for a little bit. I won't go into details, but I sort of broke into somewhere to get some of these photos.
(insert hachiouji photos)

Last night, there was an eclipse. It only comes once every 400 years, but really - it was just a normal day, wasn't it? The Earth is still rotating, just like before. I lay on the grass by the river. and we all shared a moment of comfortable silence.

In Nikko today it felt somewhat strange. I was remembering the me who first started learning Japanese. And even the little kid who was so transfixed with Japan. The art, the religion, the food and music. At Nikko I stood infront of the grave of the first Shogun, the most beautiful shrines and sculptures, and realised I didn't know anything about them. I will change that.
That little kid is so far gone from me now...

My final day of school before Winter break! In this little gap I travelled to Shimokitazawa with my friend, got a Tokyo Metro all-day pass and travelled everywhere there, visited places like Shibuya and Harajuku. I went to Comiket too! It was so fun. I spent Christmas Eve drinking the ENTIRE night and stayed up until 7AM with my friend. To prove whether Santa existed or not :3
Unfortunately after this, I got sick a few times. Covid too at one point... I called my friends a lot these days! I went to club at Nichome, and that's probably where I got sick.
New Years' Eve at Nichome was incredibly fun though!!
I made a library card and watched .Hack during the winter.
